Enrollment & Payment Terms
- Monthly tuition is due on or before the 1st of each month and is non-refundable after the 5th of the month.
- A 30-day written notice (email to contact@brightbrainslearning.com) is required to cancel enrollment.
- Missed sessions are not eligible for refunds or make-up credits unless cancelled by BrightBrains.
- BrightBrains reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or combine classes with reasonable notice to families.
- Full-program prepayment discounts are non-refundable once the program begins.
- Sibling discounts apply to concurrent enrollments only and may not be combined with other promotions.
Educational Outcomes Disclaimer
- BrightBrains makes no guarantee of specific academic, career, or college-admission outcomes.
- Individual results depend on student effort, attendance, age, and prior experience.
- Certificates and badges are internal recognition documents issued by BrightBrains Learning and are not accredited academic credentials unless explicitly stated.
- The "Elements of AI" credential is offered by the University of Helsinki / Reaktor. BrightBrains is not affiliated with that institution. Eligibility is the student's responsibility.
- Testimonials and reviews reflect individual experiences and are not guarantees of typical outcomes.

BrightBrains Learning LLC ("BrightBrains," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 2028 N Broad St, Lansdale, PA 19446, operates the website brightbrainslearning.com and provides educational programs for children and adults. - IP address and browser type for security and technical purposes
Information from class activities:
- Webcam or image data used during AI projects — processed locally on the student's device only, never transmitted to or stored on our servers
- Student project work created during sessions
3. How We Use Your Information
- To schedule, confirm, and send reminders for trial and enrolled sessions
- To communicate with parents and guardians about program updates, scheduling changes, and student progress
- To send booking confirmation emails and WhatsApp reminders via our service providers
- To process enrollment and tuition payments
- To improve our programs and website based on aggregate, anonymized usage data
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use your information for automated profiling, targeted advertising, or sale to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services We Use
To operate our services, we share limited data with the following trusted providers:
- Resend — email delivery service used to send booking confirmations and reminders. Your email address is transmitted to Resend for this purpose.
- Meta (WhatsApp Business API) — used to send WhatsApp appointment reminders. Your phone number is shared with Meta for this purpose.
- Google Calendar — used to manage and store appointment bookings. Booking details including name, email, phone, and appointment time are stored in Google Calendar.
- Google Fonts — used to display fonts on our website. Your IP address may be transmitted to Google servers.
Each provider is bound by their own privacy policy and data processing agreements. We select providers that meet appropriate data protection standards.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
BrightBrains serves children as young as 5 years old. We take children's privacy seriously and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- We collect personal information about children only from parents or guardians, not directly from the child
- We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent
- Webcam-based AI projects are age-gated to students 7 and older and require a signed parental consent form before participation
- Webcam data is processed entirely on the student's local device — it is never transmitted to, stored on, or accessible by BrightBrains servers
- Student photos or videos are never used for any purpose without explicit written parental consent
- Parents may review, correct, or request deletion of their child's information at any time by contacting us at contact@brightbrainslearning.com
6. Data Retention
- Booking and enrollment records are retained for up to 3 years for administrative and legal purposes
- Email and SMS communication logs are retained by our service providers per their own retention policies
- Webcam and biometric data from class activities is never retained — it exists only in-session on the student's device
- You may request earlier deletion of your data by contacting us at contact@brightbrainslearning.com
7. Your Rights
As a user of our services, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you or your child
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion — request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal obligations
- Opt-out — unsubscribe from reminder emails or SMS messages at any time by contacting us
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for webcam projects or promotional use of your child's work at any time

Intellectual Property & Copyright
- All BrightBrains curriculum materials, lesson plans, project frameworks, branding, and website content are the exclusive intellectual property of BrightBrains Learning LLC, protected under U.S. copyright law.
- Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or resale of any curriculum materials is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
- Student-created projects remain the intellectual property of the student. BrightBrains claims no ownership over student work.
- Third-party tools referenced (Scratch, Teachable Machine, Python, TensorFlow, OpenAI, LangChain, Hugging Face, GitHub) are trademarks of their respective owners. BrightBrains is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies.
- Google and Google Reviews are trademarks of Google LLC. BrightBrains is not affiliated with Google.
Limitation of Liability
- BrightBrains Learning LLC shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in any program, including device damage, software issues, or project failures.
- Students and families are responsible for ensuring their devices meet minimum technical requirements before enrolling in online classes.
- BrightBrains is not responsible for internet connectivity issues affecting online session participation.
- In-person class participation is at the family's own discretion. BrightBrains follows current local health guidelines but cannot guarantee a disease-free environment.
AI Tools & Content Safety
- AI tools used in the curriculum are accessed under educator/student licenses and used solely for educational purposes.
- Students are taught responsible AI use as a core component of every level. BrightBrains does not condone use of AI for harmful, deceptive, or unethical purposes.
- Outputs generated by AI tools (images, text, code) during sessions are for educational use only. Families should review AI-generated content before sharing publicly.
- BrightBrains makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content produced during class activities.
